We are happy to be able to announce the following guests at cinefest 2011:
The actors Arthur Brauss and Dan van Husen for the screening of POATO FRITZ on Tuesday, 15 Nov. at 7 pm. Arthur Brauss will also be at the screening of JAIDER, DER EINSAME JÄGER on Thursday, 17 Nov. at 9:30 pm.
Director Hark Bohm for the screening of his film TSCHETAN, DER INDIANERJUNGE (1972) on Sunday, 13 Nov. at 5 pm.
Swiss director and rocker Angy Burri will present his film THE WOLFER (1975-79) on Thursday, 17 Nov. at 7 pm.
Czech director Jan Šikl, who was also a guest at cinefest 2007, will present his documentary SEJDEME SE V DENVERU ("See you in Denver") (CZ 2006/07) from the series "Private Century" on Friday, 18 Nov. at 5 pm.
Cult-Director Roland Klick will present his film DEADLOCK (1970) on Saturday, 19 Nov., at 9.15pm.
Actress Jutta Hoffmann for the screening of BLAUVOGEL (GDR 1978/79) on Sunday 20 Nov. at 5pm.

On 16 Nov. at 7:30 pm three short films:

On 18 Nov. at 7 pm, the Russian film PO ZAKONU (SU 1926, Lev Kuleshov)

On 19 Nov at 7 pm, FEUERTEUFEL (D 1920, Phil Jutzi), a so-called Neckar-Western. The film was banned for a "demoralizing effects" and will have his Hamburg premiere at cinefest.
Musical accompaniment: Syrup (free flow jazz)
The forums will take place from 14-16 November, from 2-4 pm in the seminar room of Goethe-Institut Hamburg (Hühnerposten 1, 20097 Hamburg).
